"Well... yeah, but why does that make me responsible for getting them to you?"
"Don't you want me not to throw buckets of paint on your house?"
"What?"
"If you don't get me the tacos that I want, I'm going to throw buckets of paint on your house."
"Well that's rude and asinine."
"Doesn't matter; I said I'd do it, and I'll do it."
"Well I certainly don't want you to throw buckets of paint on my house. Wait, what colour paint were you planning to use?"
"What colour is your house?"
"Beige."
"Bright orange."
"Eugh. Well I don't want you throwing buckets of paint on my house. But why me?"
"You want me to like you, right?"
"I guess so."
"There you go then; bring me tacos, and not only will I not throw buckets of paint on your house, but I might decide I like you as well."
"Can't you promise to like me?"
"There's no such thing as a sure thing in this world. Except for buckets of paint. Being thrown on your house if you don't bring me tacos."
"Okay then, fine. I'll bring you a taco."
"Several tacos."
"I'll bring you several tacos. Would you like anything else with them?"
"I want you to burn down all the taco stands."
"What!?"
"You heard me. I want you to burn down all the taco stands."
"Why would you want me to do that?"
"Does it matter?"
"Kind of, yeah."
"This bucket of orange paint here says it doesn't."
"You're kidding."
"Am I?"
"So what you're saying is that you want me to bring you tacos, but you also want me to burn down all the taco stands, which will prevent me from bringing you tacos."
"Exactly."
"That makes literally no sense."
"Not my problem. After all: I'm the one with the bucket of orange paint."
"Why do you have that, anyway?"
"I like to be prepared."
"So once I burn down the taco stands, where exactly am I supposed to get the tacos from?"
